Stop Using the “E” Word Exercise has grown a negative reputation.  Exercise sounds like punishment.  Exercise sounds like torture.  The solution is simple:  Stop using the world exercise.  Your health routine seems less daunting when you don’t have to worry about exercise.  Try replaying exercise with “moving”.
  3. Remind Yourself Why You Want to Move Remember that sinking feeling in your gut when you split your pants?  Or when you couldn’t catch your breath after running to catch the bus or the kids?  Hold onto that feeling.  Every time you feel tempted to sit on your backside and not move, remember the reason you started in the first place.
